Spectrogram - Mini

A synesthesia bridge between sound and light - the spectrogram is an audio-reactive LED platform that shows an low-res view of the sounds around you. Two modes display intensity or note-frequency information.

Arranged as a waterfall spectrum map, the spectrogram shows 3 frames at at time with a 15 Hz frequency update cycle.

A touch menu can be used to navigate a rich menu, accessing brightness, resolution, frequency, and sensitivity settings.

USB-c powered, cable not provided.

Cut and assembled by hand in Melbourne.

In a similar fashion to the moodlight, custom panels can be inserted into the base.

Open source code allows the intrepid hacker to repurpose the platform, e.g.: to make a visual metronome.
